"As a brief input, picture is myself and long-time girlfriend Janet, posed with BRAD FREEMAN, the last of the "Band of Brothers" paratroopers who first jumped at Normandy. Photo is at his farm in northeastern MS, near Columbus, in May for the event of his receipt of a "challenge coin" from the Chief of the Armed Forces and accompanying festivities. 

I became acquainted on a "Band of Brothers" excursion tracing the route of the "Band" across Europe, provided by the WW 11 Museum (New Orleans). I was told that he and his girl friend danced on Friday nights. I told him that we would join him soon. Did so, soon after returning, and have visited a couple times since."
