Our second son, Nathaniel, was born June 13, 2008. My wife, Ellen, and oldest son Jacob (2 1/2 yrs. old) are also doing well. I am a commercial banker for M&T Bank, working in Altoona, PA.

Early last fall, I took a promotion with First Energy that brought us back to Pennsylvania. Crystal is still working for John Deere and they have been very accommodating to us. Since early October we have kept an extremely rigorous schedule. We would not have been able to pull this move off if it wasn't for a great batch of family & friends.
I hope this finds all of you doing well and don't hesitate to call or stop by in your travels.

Class of 1999
Christina and I have moved to Virginia. She completed her Ph.D. from Ohio State in August. She accepted a position with Virginia Tech as an Assistant Professor in the Dairy Science Department. We bought our first house and moved to VA in late October. I have continued to work with Cargill Animal Nutrition as a dairy nutritionist. We just had our first child, a son, born February 18th. His name is Evan Rider Wolfe and he was 9 lb. 1 oz and 22 inches long. We hope to get him back for the Blue/White game so he does not have to see too much of this orange and maroon.

Wife CJ and I have a baby girl, Emory Jo, born Christmas day 2002. Welcomed her in a 21-inch snow storm, and it's been fun ever since. We're now living in northeast Pennsylvania Still amazed how many times I run into AZ brothers at different dairy events. Quite a fraternity!

Karlene and I are proud to announce the birth of our second boy Alexander Joseph Beam. Alexander was born on Oct. 2nd exactly 3 years after his brother Zachary. Currently I am working at Chicago's O'Hare airport for United Airlines as a Supervisor, however we have continued to maintain a resisdence in Lititz, Pa.

I married Charlene Shupp on October 11, 2003, in Tunkhannock, Pa. Serving as groomsmen were Michael Cigich ?96 and pledge Brother Andy Foster III ?94. We were please to have so many Brothers from the house in attendance including Karl Krieg ?95, David Shupp ?01, Owen Bewley ?96, John Penny ?94, Mark Garber ?97, Ben McConnaughey ?95, and Eric Smith ?95. Charlene is a 1999 graduate of Va. Tech. and while there she was active in the Va. Chapter of Alpha Zeta serving as chancellor her senior year.

Ellen gave birth to our son, Jacob Boyd Will, December 27, 2005. He was 6 lbs. 7 1/2 oz., and measured 20 inches long. We are very excited about this new addition to our family. We are living at 1663 Mountain Laurel Court, Warriors Mark, PA. I am Commercial Loan Officer for M&T Bank in Altoona, PA, and Ellen works for Penn State at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center.

Class of 1994
I married Ellen Boyd on Dec. 14, 2002 in North Carolina. Fellow AZ brother Aaron Harpster was the best man. Other AZs in attendance were Andy Morley, Mike Cigich, Eric Smith, John Penny, and Matt Turley. I will graduate from Penn State's graduate school with an MBA in May '03 and will begin a new career in July with M&T Bank as an executive associate/bank officer.
